On Saturday May 20th, NAND is partnering with the Nashville Farmers Market and AARP Foundation to support the Fresh Savings Program at Nashville Farmer’s Market. Please join us! Fresh Savings helps people who shop with SNAP/EBT benefits stretch their dollars. When someone spends up to $20 on SNAP-eligible food at the market, they can receive up to $20 more to spend on fresh fruits and vegetables. NAND volunteers will help guide shoppers on how to spend their tokens, how to pick out different fruits/vegetables, provide suggestions on how to use the produce, and show them the best way to maximize their dollar. Sign up to help! We are looking for at least 4 volunteers to cover a 2 hour shift, either 10am-12pm or 12pm-2pm. Sign up today by following the link below!
