She is in search of a Kids Cook Intern to help assist with making the class a continued success and one-of-a-kind culinary kids’ experience (and she would LOVE to see a Dietetic Intern in this role!). The SEEDS group is seeking a female community registered dietitian to assist with a wellness challenge mid February – April for 4-5, 1 hour sessions. The SEEDS group is an eclectic women’s group with an African American majority. It is beneficial if the RD has knowledge of African American ethnic food preferences and is available for one shopping outing–gas mileage will be reimbursed. Certificate will also be given.

NAND will be hosting two events this year in honor of National Nutrition month: Sorting canned goods with Second Harvest on Saturday March 18th from 9-12pm and Gardening with the Nashville Food Project on Saturday March 25th from 9-11am. Please sign up for the event(s) in which you are interested! Not only will we be helping out the community, but this will be a great way to network with other NAND and community partners. Feel free to share this event with other RDs who are not NAND members, but who are interested in learning more about our organization. We have 50 slots to fill for Second Harvest.
