NAND Fall Fundraiser and Open House


NAND Fall Fundraiser November 1st-20th!

Open House November 13th, 2:00 – 4:00 pm at 905 Gleaves St. Nashville, TN 37203

Our fall fundraiser was successfully launched at our November 1st member meeting! This year we will be hosting a Thirty-One party.  Proceeds from the sale will go to NAND so that we may continue to grow as an organization and provide more events/opportunities for our members. Additionally, we will be making a donation of Thirty-One products to Gilda’s Club Nashville, a local organization which provides support to individuals with cancer and their families.  We are very excited about this fundraiser and we hope you will be too! Please click on the following link to access our online party and scope out what awesome products are available. The online party started November 1st and will run through November 20th.  Also be sure to save the date for our Fall Fundraiser Open House on November 13th, 2:00 – 4:00 pm where you can check out more of the products while enjoying some Fall treats 🙂

Help Support Dr. Ruth Williams-Hooker


Dr. Ruth Williams-Hooker, a faculty member within the Clinical Nutrition unit in the School of Health Studies at The University of Memphis has been selected as one of 200 finalists, out of 2000 applicants, in the State Farm Neighborhood Assist® program! Her submission, along with the other finalists, are live at Anyone with a valid email address can log on and vote for her cause. The 40 causes that receive the most votes will be announced on November 30th and a $25,000 grant will be awarded to the affiliated nonprofits to implement the solution. Each email address can be entered to vote 10 times a day for 10 days.  Please click on the link below to vote directly for her cause.

The  cause is to provide nutrition education classes in public libraries in low income, minority areas of Memphis. By doing this, we hope to decrease the incidence of obesity, high blood pressure and diabetes among low income, minority residents of Memphis.  The money will be used to purchase a portable teaching kitchen, food for cooking demos, handouts, and other supplies.

Please support Dr. Williams-Hooker and her colleagues by voting for her cause  every day, 10 times for the next 10 days. Also, please share with everyone you know, as she needs at least 100,000 votes in 10 days.
