Dinner and CEU Event January 29th

Learn more about clinical support of blenderized diets for enteral patients at our upcoming dinner presentation.

Real Food Blends is hosting a free dinner and presentation about the clinical importance and positive benefits of a blended, real food diet for people with feeding tubes. The presentation, given by Melissa Blandford, MS, RD, CSO, LDN, Business Development Manager for Real Food Blends, also includes a free CEU credit. See the details below–

Topics include:
* All of the latest clinical research supporting blenderized enteral nutrition.
* Formula intolerance symptoms
* In depth review of the blended diets used in clinical research
* The importance of nutritional variety in enteral diets
* Taking a mealtime approach to tube feeding.
If you work with enteral patients this presentation will help identify why
some many patients and caregivers are now using an all natural diet.

Nashville Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics is hosting a Pound class.

FREE for up to 25 NAND members! Join us for a bit of networking ahead of time or stay for a snack and water after the class- both provided by NAND.

When: Wednesday, January 30, 2019. The class starts at 5:30 and lasts about an hour.

*Our instructor Maria will give us instructions and lead us through the class.

Class Description:  Full-body cardio jam session combining light resistance with constant simulated drumming. The workout fuses cardio, Pilates, isometric movements, plyometric, and isometric poses into a 45-minute series.

A group of dietetic interns from Lipscomb University are conducting a group research project and they need your help! The purpose of this study is to investigate trends, usage, attitudes and knowledge of Herbal and Dietary Supplements among U.S. adults. Participation in this research study is voluntary and will take 15 minutes or less to complete. To participate, please click on the link included below.
